The New York Giants are 3-9 on the season facing an even worse 2-10 Tennessee Titans club on the road. The Titans are just 1-4 at home this season and will find itself 3-point underdogs to the Giants in NFL odds this Sunday.<\/p>\n

Eli Manning has thrown for 3,080 yards this season with 22 TDs. But last week the Giants blew a 21-0 lead to lose 25-24 to a horrible JAX team. The Giants have lost seven straight following a three-game win streak. Coach Tom Coughlin hasn\u2019t coached a team this bad since his first season in 2004.<\/p>\n

Coughlin said, \u201cI am not interested in discussing my circumstances whatsoever\u2026I am worried about my team.\u201d Coughlin seems like an unlikely candidate to retain the coaching job. Though the team is at the lowest point it has been since he began coaching, he commented that the team has done well in retaining leads going into the fourth quarter, before blowing them.<\/p>\n

However, with a defense that ranks No. 29 in the NFL, and one that surrendered 385 yards per game this season, it will be hard. Jacksonville returned two fumbles for TDs, keys in the loss. Eli Manning did not throw an interception, though, after giving the ball away seven times in the previous three contests. He did however commit one fumble that was returned fora score and he gave up the ball again in the Giants\u2019 final drive of the game.<\/p>\n

Rashad Jennings is questionable for this game with an ankle injury. He rushed for 91 yards and two TDs last week against JAX.<\/p>\n

Odell Beckham Jr. has been a big silver lining for NY. He managed seven catches for 90 yards against JAX and he has 38 catches and 593 yards in the five games.<\/p>\n

The Titans are tied for the worst record in the league and have allowed 88 points in the last two games. Ken Whisenhunt has found himself the coach of a horrible team in his first NFL coaching gig, and though he said there is evidence of a \u201cplan that can work,\u201d it really has yet to be seen. The Titans fell behind 24-0 last week against HOU and lost the game 45-21.<\/p>\n

Jake Locker played backup QB and threw 6-of-12 for 91 yards with one TD and two INTs.<\/p>\n

Titans WR Justin Hunter won\u2019t play again his season after damaging his spleen last week. Kendall Wright\u2019s play has been with 51 receptions and seven catches for 132 yards at HOU but he is unlikely to play given the broken bone in his hand he suffered in practice.<\/p>\n

The Titans have won the last five contests between these teams and won 29-10 in the last contest on Sept. 26, 2010.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
