id="caption-attachment-25977" class="wp-caption-text">The North Carolina Tar Heels have split their four all-time meetings in this series

North Carolina is off to a 3-0 SU and 2-1 start to its 2014-15 campaign, as it picked up a 90-72 victory over Davidson as 13.5-point neutral-site favorites last time out. The Tar Heels are using a balanced approach offensively, which is important to consider when making your college basketball predictions, which is demonstrated in Preseason ACC Player of the Year Marcus Paige ranking fourth on the squad in averaging 12.0 points per game. North Carolina is 8-5 SU and 6-7 ATS on a neutral floor the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 9-2 in that situation.

The Tar Heels played a pair of exhibition games in the Bahamas in August, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds—splitting those affairs in the process. North Carolina has split its first four meetings against Butler, with the most recent meeting resulting in a 82-71 setback in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational on Nov. 20, 2012. It’s important to point out that the squad is shooting just 27.3 percent from beyond the arc and 69.1 percent from the charity stripe.

Butler has also won its first three games of the season, as it has managed to shoot 56.0 percent from the floor, while out-rebounding foes by an average of seven boards per contest. The Bulldogs have taken a defensive approach under head coach Chris Holtmann, as it leads the Big East Conference in surrendering just 48.0 points per game. Offensively, three players are averaging in double figures, with junior guard Kellen Dunham leading the way at 19.0 a contest. Butler is 12-3 SU and 7-4 ATS in November the last two-plus seasons.

The Bulldogs are also balanced on the offensive end, with seven different players having scored 10 or more points already this year. Butler junior Roosevelt Jones currently ranks 11th in the country in averaging 7.3 assists per game, which isn’t much of a surprise due to his performance on the court two years ago, but he had to sat out all of last season with a wrist injury.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bulldogs due to their 6-0 ATS mark in their last six games versus ACC opponents.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college basketball handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are available
