Iowa State is focused on trying to win back-to-back games for the first time this season, as it hits the road after picking up a 37-30 victory over the Toledo Rockets as 3.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total of 62.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to point out that the Cyclones\u2019 first six opponents have a combined 30-6 SU overall record, which can\u2019t be ignored when making your Week 8 college football predictions, as that\u2019s the highest opponent win percentage in the country.\u00a0 Iowa State is 1-8 SU and 3-5-1 ATS as underdogs of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.<\/p>\n

The Longhorns have scored 30 or more points in nine of 11 all-time meetings in this series, while they\u2019ve won five of six games versus the Cyclones when playing in the Lone Star State.\u00a0 Texas will look for sophomore quarterback Tyrone Swoopes to continue his maturation process, as his 1,068 passing yards are the most for a signal-caller in school history in his first five starts.<\/p>\n
