There are many interesting team props for the Super Bowl.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Earlier we discusses some of the player props for this year’s Super Bowl.<\/a> Now we will look at some of the team props for the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. All odds are courtesy of 5 Dimes Sportsbooks, who offer Maddux Sports customers a 20% sign on bonus.<\/p>\n

Which team scores first? (Denver -115 \/ Seattle -105)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Denver has the stronger offense by far but this prop depends a lot on who wins the coin toss and gets the ball first. I like Seattle to score first in a very mild upset.<\/p>\n

Which team scores last? (Denver -115 \/ Seattle -105)<\/strong><\/p>\n

You might think this is who you think will win the game will score last. However, what if a team has a large lead and the other team scores a late garbage touchdown? This is another coin flip basically but I like Seattle to score last as well.<\/p>\n

Will there be a score in the last 2 minutes of the first half? (Yes -270 \/ No +230)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This seems like the odds are awfully low on a score in last two minutes of the first half. I think no is definitely worth a play at +230.<\/p>\n

Will either team score three straight times? (Yes -170 \/ No +150)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think these two teams are evenly matched and I don’t see either team scoring three straight times. Seattle will want to control the clock with their powerful running game with running back Marshawn Lynch and quarterback Russell Wilson. Seattle has a great defense but the best defense against Denver’s explosive offense is to keep Manning on the sideline.<\/p>\n

Will there be a successful two point conversion? (No -440 \/ Yes +350)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two point conversions happen more often then you would think, especially if a team is up by 8 or 11 points. I think yes at +350 is definitely worth a shot.<\/p>\n

Will there be a safety in the game? (No -1000 \/ Yes +650)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Safeties don’t happen all that often hence the long odds on yes. However in last year’s Super Bowl the Baltimore Ravens were up by 5 with less than a minute left \u00a0against the San Francisco 49ers and intentionally took a safety to run time off the clock. I think yes at +650 is worth a play.<\/p>\n

Will the game go into overtime? (No -1165 \/ Yes +750)\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 47 previous Super Bowls, no game has ever gone into overtime. It has come close in recent years, and will happen eventually. Any bet on yes would be no more than a shot in the dark.<\/p>\n

Will there be a defensive or special teams touchdown? (No -185 \/ Yes +165)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Broncos and Seahawks combined for 9 defensive\/special teams touchdowns, and allowed six during the regular season. I think yes is a good play.<\/p>\n

Will the first score of the game be a touchdown? (Yes -150 \/ No +130)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teams usually are a little nervous and need some time to settle down in the Super Bowl. I think it is very possible the first score could be a field goal. No is worth a shot.<\/p>\n

What will the largest lead of the game be? (over 13 1\/2 -150 \/ under +130)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is similar to the three unanswered scores prop. I think this will be a very close game and getting plus money on under 13.5 points is a good bargain.<\/p>\n

Total yards of longest touchdown scored in the game? (over 44 1\/2 -105 \/ under -115)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both teams have explosive big play potential especially Peyton Manning and Lynch. I like over 44 1\/2 yards for the longest touchdown.<\/p>\n

Those are some fun props I like and I hope everyone enjoys the game.<\/p>\n
