Ole Miss is 9-4 on the season but has lost two of its past three to Mercer and Dayton. The Rebels will host Auburn Thursday night in a game college basketball oddsmakers are favoring the Rebels by 7.5-points over visiting Auburn.<\/p>\n

Ole Miss has had little trouble scoring this season, averaging 79.8 points per game. 6’2″ senior guard Marshall Henderson leads the way in scoring with 18.8 points per game and his backcourt mate 6’3″ junior Jarvis Summers is second on the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game.<\/p>\n

Summers is shooting 54.5 percent from three-point range this season and 55.2 percent from the floor. In the past three games, Summers ha hit 24-of-37 from the floor while seeing his minutes increase as well.<\/p>\n

Auburn has won four straight over Clemson, Boston College, Arkansas Pine Bluff and FAMU. The victory over Clemson on Dec 19 was a big upset win for the Tigers. Chris Denson scored 19 points on 9-of-16 shooting and KT Harrell scored 14.<\/p>\n

Harrell leads the Tigers in scoring with 19.4 points per game and he’s shooting at a great clip: 50 percent from the floor, 42 percent from three and 87 percent from the line. Denson is second in scoring with 19 per game, but the Tigers don’t get major contributions from any other sources. Allen Payne does a decent job playing big at just 6’6″, leading the team in rebounding with 6.5 per game while scoring 7.2 per contest as well, but the Tigers are in need of some tertiary scoring options to emerge.
