Cincinnati is 8-2 on the season and has won its last five games, but the Bearcats will face a tough challenge on the road in a game college football oddsmakers find it to be 3-point underdogs to Houston. Last week, Cincy disposed of Rutgers 52-17 and the team hasn’t lost since a disappointing 26-20 loss to South Florida on Oct 5.<\/p>\n

The Bearcats pass offense ranks 18th in the nation in yards per game and Brendon Kay has done the majority of the work at QB. He’s thrown for 2,411 yards with a 72.6 percent completion ratio and has 20 TDs on the year to just seven interceptions.<\/p>\n

Kay has a capable cabinet of receivers that features Anthony McClung (674 yards on 52 receptions), Shaq Washington (604 yards on 64 receptions) and Chris Moore (32 receptions).<\/p>\n

Cincy has also been sensational defensively, allowing just 10.8 points per game this season. The team hasn’t faced a very tough schedule, but it will close the season in a crucial match against No. 21 Louisville on ESPN on Dec 5.<\/p>\n

Houston, like Cincy, is a very potent team via the pass (291.9 yards per game). John O’Korn has thrown for 2,473 yards on the season with a 61.3 precent completion ratio. The Cougars backfield hasn’t been overly productive, but Ryan Jackson and Kenneth Farrow have been able to generate good short yardage and both have five rushing touchdowns on the season, as well.<\/p>\n
