USC makes its annual Bay Area trek, as it comes off a 31-14 victory over the Oregon State Beavers as 5.5-point road underdogs last Thursday, while going UNDER the betting total for a third consecutive contest.\u00a0 The Trojans haven\u2019t lost to the Golden Bears since 2003\u2014with the defense allowing just an average of 10 points over that span.\u00a0 The program is focused on gaining one more victory to become bowl eligible in participating in the back end of its only two-game road trip of 2013.\u00a0 USC is 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS as favorites of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.<\/p>\n

The Trojans have one of the better stop units in the country, as they rank in the Top 25 in total, rushing and scoring defense.\u00a0 USC is 33-17-1 in its last 51 games on artificial turf, while it has compiled a 243-127-20 all-time record in the month of November.\u00a0 All eyes will be on wide receiver Marqise Lee on the offensive side of the ball, as he ranks second in school history with 228 career catches.<\/p>\n

California will take the field at Memorial Stadium for the final time, as it tries to end a seven-game losing streak, which includes a 33-28 defeat to the Arizona Wildcat as 14-point underdogs last Saturday.\u00a0 The Golden Bears rank third in the Pac-12 Conference and eighth nationally in averaging 351.1 yards per game, but they\u2019ll go against a defense that allows just 323.0 yards per game in this matchup.\u00a0 Offensively, the team did average a season-high 5.0 yards per carry against the Wildcats, which was 2.0 more than its average during the 2013 campaign.\u00a0 California is 0-6 SU and 2-4 ATS versus conference foes.<\/p>\n

The Golden Bears are led offensively by quarterback Jared Goff, who ranks fifth in single-season passing yards with 2,881 through nine games this season.\u00a0 California is facing the nation\u2019s third-toughest schedule with one of the youngest rosters in college football.\u00a0 Goff\u2019s main target in the passing game is Chris Harper, who has caught 62 passes for 821 yards and five touchdowns.<\/p>\n
