Coast Conference foe dating back to last season, as it’s only one of 10 teams to have 10 different offensive players to score a touchdown. The Seminoles are rushing for 266.3 yards per game and passing for 281.0 yards per game, which is important to consider when making your college football predictions in Week 5. Defensively, the program has held opponents to 20 or less points in 25 of its last 31 games. Florida State is 4-0 SUATS as favorites of 21.5 to 31 points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 3-1 in that situation.

The Seminoles haven’t allowed more than one touchdown to an opponent in five straight games, while holding four consecutive foes to under 300 yards of total offense. Florida State is averaging 52.3 points per game, which ranks fifth nationally, while piling up 547.3 yards per game. During the Jimbo Fisher era, the program has compiled a 10-4 record against ACC Atlantic Division foes. All eyes will be on quarterback Jameis Winston, who leads the nation with a 78.1 percent completion percentage.

Boston College is fresh off a bye week after making a trip to Los Angeles, as it looks to continue forcing turnovers, as it ranks second among ACC teams and eighth among all teams nationally in that category. The Eagles also have one of the better running backs in the country, with senior Andre Williams averaging 118.7 yards per game on the ground. He has amassed 1,918 career rushing yards and 12 touchdowns—running behind a veteran offensive line. Boston College is 6-8 SU and 7-7 ATS at home the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 9-4-1 in those 14 opportunities.

The Eagles have the ability to move the ball through the air, as senior wide receiver Alex Amidon has 20 receptions for 262 yards and two touchdowns. He currently ranks seventh on the school’s all-time records list, while sitting 429 receiving yards shy of sitting atop that particular category. Defensively, the team has allowed opponents to score in 62.5 percent of its red zone opportunities—tied for 10th in the country.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the UNDER is 19-6-1 in the Eagles’ last 26 conference games.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports
