Arizona has dropped two games in a row, including a 9-5 defeat to the New York Mets as -131 home favorites yesterday, while going OVER the betting total for the third time in four affairs.\u00a0 The Diamondbacks are now 5.5 games back of the Cincinnati Reds for the final NL Wild Card spot, which could prove troublesome with outfielder Cody Ross potentially going on the disabled list with a dislocated hip.\u00a0 He was batting .405 with three home runs and 10 RBIs since July 26.\u00a0 Arizona is 7-10 at home with a money line of -100 to -125, with the UNDER going 10-7 in that situation.<\/p>\n

Diamondbacks starting pitcher Wade Miley (9-8, 3.56 ERA) is on a three-game winning streak, which includes a 6-1 home victory over the Tampa Bay Rays last time out, as he allowed just a single run and five hits over seven frames.\u00a0 The left-hander is 5-2 with a 3.93 ERA in nine home outings, issuing 23 walks and striking out 33 batters in 55 combined innings.\u00a0 Miley will be facing the Orioles for the first time in his career.<\/p>\n
