Diamondbacks starting pitcher Patrick Corbin (9-0, 2.19 ERA) hasn\u2019t earn a decision in his last four outings, but he did lead the team to a 4-3 home victory over the Cincinnati Reds last time out.\u00a0 The left-hander is 4-0 with a 2.85 ERA in seven road outings, surrendering just three home runs in 47.1 combined innings.\u00a0 Corbin earned a 7-4 home win over the Nationals in his only career start against them on Aug. 12 of last season.<\/p>\n

Washington has split its last 10 games, but has managed to win the first two games of this series.\u00a0 The Nationals are now a game above .500 on the season again, with the clubhouse starting to feel better about their chances of making a run in the NL East division.\u00a0 \u201cWe are playing good ball right now,\u201d commented Nationals pitcher Jordan Zimmerman.\u00a0 Offensively, first baseman Adam LaRoche has been leading the charge at this ballpark, as he\u2019s hit safely in 19 of his last 20 home games.\u00a0 Washington is 9-3 as home favorites of -125 to -150 this season, with the OVER going 9-3 in that situation.<\/p>\n

Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (4-6, 2.40 ERA) is coming off a 2-1 home victory over the Colorado Rockies last time out, as he allowed just a single run and five hits over seven frames.\u00a0 The right-hander is 3-3 with a 1.13 ERA in six home starts, issuing just four walks and striking out 42 batters in 40 combined innings.\u00a0 In two career games versus the Diamondbacks, Strasburg has tallied a 1-0 record and 1.64 ERA.<\/p>\n
