The West Virginia Mountaineers have lost five games in a row<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

West Virginia travels to Ames, Iowa in a Big 12 Conference matchup at Jack Trice Stadium, as it looks to snap a five-game losing streak, which includes a 50-49 setback to the Oklahoma Sooners as 10.5-point home underdogs.\u00a0 The Mountaineers were unable to breakthrough with a victory despite wide receiver Tavon Austin finishing with a school record 557 all-purpose yards.\u00a0 West Virginia is 8-5 ATS on the road the last two-plus seasons, while the UNDER is 7-6 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Cyclones rank fourth in the Big 12 Conference in allowing 27.1 points per game when facing such opponents, but have surrendered 502.9 yards per game in that situation.\u00a0 Iowa State has allowed more first downs than any league team, but ranks first in red-zone defense.\u00a0 There\u2019s no doubt that 24 is the magic number for this program, as it has gone 21-1 under head coach Paul Rhoads when holding opponents under that mark, while going 3-24 when failing to do so.<\/p>\n
