id="caption-attachment-23960" class="wp-caption-text">The Oregon Ducks have won nine of their last 10 meetings with the Stanford Cardinal

Stanford hits the road for the final two games of the 2012 college football regular season, as it comes off a 27-23 win over the Oregon State Beavers as 3.5-point home favorites, while going OVER the total for the first time in five contests. The Cardinal have lost two straight games in this Pac-12 Conference series, including a 53-30 setback as 2.5-point home favorites last year. “They have great athletes, they have a great scheme in all three phases,” commented Cardinal coach David Shaw. Stanford is 11-3 ATS on the road the last two-plus seasons, something to consider when making your college football point spread picks this weekend.

The Cardinal rank first nationally in allowing just 58.6 rushing yards per game, which is important when going against an offensive unit that averages 325.1 yards per game on the ground. Stanford has held its last four opponents under 100 yards rushing, but that streak will likely fall inside Autzen Stadium. Running back Stepfan Taylor became the first player in school history to record back-to-back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons, while he sits just 169 yards away from reaching 4,000 for his career.

Oregon has won nine of its last 10 meetings with Stanford, while it has compiled a dominating 32-2 record in conference games during the Chip Kelly era. The Ducks know they are in for a challenge against a formidable opponent, which has caused ESPN’s College GameDay to invade the campus in Eugene on Saturday. “I think it’ll be a huge challenge offensively getting matched up against what will be the best defense we’ve face so far,” stated Kelly in practice this week. Oregon is 16-9 ATS versus Pac-12 opponent since 2010.

The Ducks have scored 42 or more points in 13 straight games, which matches the longest streak of 40-plus points in the BCS era. Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota has been incredible in his first season, as his 28 touchdown passes are the most by a freshman in conference history. On the defensive side of the ball, the team ranks second nationally in protecting the red zone, as opponents have scored just 25 times in 41 trips when reaching the 20-yard line.

Sports bettors will likely back the Cardinal as one of their college football predictions, as they’ve gone 36-16-1 ATS in their last 53 games.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are available
