after picking up a 23-9 win over the Michigan Wolverines as one-point home favorites, while going UNDER the total in the last two weeks. The Cornhuskers are starting to play some defense this year, which caused the unit’s players to break out the Blackshirts in the locker room this week. “They didn’t want them last week,” stated Cornhuskers head coach Bo Pelini. “I think they earned them.” Saturday’s game is the seventh all-time matchup between these two schools, with Nebraska winning the previous six meetings.

The Cornhuskers rushed for a season-low 160 yards last week, ending a streak of seven straight games with at least 200 rushing yards to start the season. Nebraska won the turnover battle by a plus-one margin last week, but is still minus-eight in that category for the season. Offensively, the team may be without the services of running back Rex Burkhead, who is nursing a knee injury. Sophomore Ameer Abdullah and dual-thread quarterback Taylor Martinez may need to carry the load, combining for 1,177 rushing yards this season.

Michigan State has played five consecutive games that have been decided by a single-score margin, as it came away with a 16-13 win over the Wisconsin Badgers as 4.5-point road underdogs. The Spartans have gone UNDER the total in six of their last seven games, as they look to gain revenge from a 24-3 setback in last year’s meeting in this series as 4.5-point road underdogs. Over the last three seasons, the program is 12-4 in games decided by 10 point or less, but three of those losses have come this year. Michigan State is 15-6 ATS in its last 21 games versus winning teams.

The Spartans have surrendered just 10 offensive touchdowns this year, which is the third-fewest allowed in college football. Michigan State has allowed just 20 trips into the red zone, with opponents coming away with six points just six times. Under head coach Mark Dantonio, the team has tallied a 31-9 record in East Lansing, which includes wins in 16 of its last 19 games in that situation.

Sports bettors will likely back the Spartans due to their 4-1 ATS mark in November, while the Cornhuskers are 0-5-1 ATS on the road.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are available now!

Nebraska
