The New York Giants lead the NFC East division heading into Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

New York leads the NFC East division by 1.5 games over Dallas and the Philadelphia Eagles, as it looks to gain revenge from a 24-17 season-opening loss as 3.5-point home favorites to America\u2019s Team.\u00a0 \u201cI remember that game quite well,\u201d commented Giants defensive player Antrel Rolle.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t need the film to remember those games.\u201d\u00a0 The Giants will need to contain Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who has thrown for 26 touchdowns and just 12 interception in 14 games against them.\u00a0 New York is 5-9 ATS versus division opponents the last two-plus years.<\/p>\n

The Giants have won all three games they\u2019ve played inside Cowboys Stadium, including a 37-34 victory as 4.5-point road underdogs a year ago.\u00a0 New York racked up 510 yards of total offense in that contest, as the game flew over the posted total of 50.5.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to note that the unit was limited to a season-low 269 yards in the first meeting this season, with signal-caller Eli Manning getting sacked three times.<\/p>\n

Dallas returns home after splitting a two-game road trip against the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers, but did manage to reward backers by covering the spread in each of those contests.\u00a0 The Cowboys haven\u2019t swept the Giants in this rivalry series since the 2007 season, which isn\u2019t likely to happen again due to a banged-up roster.\u00a0 If it plans on scoring a slight upset at home, linebacker DeMarcus Ware will need to play his best game of the year, as he\u2019s sacked Giant quarterbacks more than any of the other teams he has played.\u00a0 Dallas is 3-10 ATS versus divisional foes.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys will need to get tight end Jason Witten involved early in the passing game, as he\u2019s tallied 33 catches for 320 yards and a touchdown thus far, but had only two catches for 10 yards in the first meeting in this series in 2012.\u00a0 Dallas will be playing without running back DeMarco Murray, who rank for 131 yards against the Giants on Sept. 5, as the team finished with a 143-82 advantage on the ground.<\/p>\n
