The St. Louis Rams are making their first-ever trip to London on Sunday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

New England is set to take on St. Louis in the 11th regular-season game outside of the United States, as the National Football League heads to London for its yearly visit that started in 2007.\u00a0 The Patriots have won three of their last four games, including a 29-26 overtime win over the New York Jets as 11-point home favorites, while going OVER the total in five consecutive contests.\u00a0 \u201cThere are a lot of things we need to work on,\u201d stated Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.\u00a0 New England is 0-2 ATS against NFC West opponents this year.<\/p>\n

The Patriots have compiled a 34-7 record in the month of October since 2003, which includes wins in 25 of their last 29 opportunities.\u00a0 New England\u2019s defense is still holding back last year\u2019s AFC champion, as the unit is allowing an average of 376.0 yards per game.\u00a0 On the other side of the ball, quarterback Tom Brady and his weapons lead the league in total yardage, as the franchise looks to win its fourth consecutive game in this series.<\/p>\n

St. Louis has suffered back-to-back losses to the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers, but has managed to win the ground battle in three consecutive contests, while going UNDER the total in four of its last five games.\u00a0 The Rams have dropped all three of their games away from the Edward Jones Dome this season, as they get set to make their first trip across the pond.\u00a0 \u201cThey\u2019re excited,\u201d stated Rams first-year head coach Jeff Fisher.\u00a0 St. Louis is 6-8 ATS as an underdog of 3.5 to 9.5 points since 2010, with the OVER going 8-6 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Rams will need to win this game on the defensive end, as ends Robert Quinn and Chris Long will need to put pressure on Brady.\u00a0 St. Louis will also need to force a couple turnovers, which the team has been hard-pressed to do, causing just a single fumble during the 2012 campaign.\u00a0 Running backs Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson have formed a solid one-two punch in the backfield, but will be going against a defensive front that allows just 3.3 rushing yards per attempt.<\/p>\n

Sports bettors will likely back the Rams due to NFC underdogs being 37-7-2 ATS on the season, while the Patriots are 1-7 ATS in non-conference action.<\/p>\n
