Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner (16-11, 3.37 ERA) has been hit hard in losing his two postseason starts this year, allowing 10 runs and 15 hits over eight combined innings.\u00a0 The left-hander finished with an impressive 10-3 record and 2.38 ERA in 15 home starts during the regular season, with opposing hitters batting just .219 against him.\u00a0 Bumgarner gave up just a single run and five hits over 7.1 innings in a no-decision effort against the Tigers on July 1, 2011.<\/p>\n
