Arkansas Razorbacks QB Tyler Wilson set a school record for total yards last year against the Texas A&M Aggies<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Arkansas is set to play its first road game in Southeastern Conference play this weekend, as it looks to snap a three-game losing streak, which includes a 35-26 setback to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as 8.5-point home favorites last week.\u00a0 \u201cOur guys hung in there,\u201d commented Razorbacks coach John L. Smith.\u00a0 \u201cThey battled.\u201d\u00a0 The Razorbacks still have to be happy that Tyler Wilson has returned to the fold, considering he missed the team\u2019s biggest game against Alabama two weeks ago.\u00a0 Arkansas is 0-3 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog the last two-plus years, while the \u201cover\u201d is 3-0 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Razorbacks have won their last four games in the Lone Star State, which includes a victory in each of the last three years against Saturday\u2019s opponent inside Cowboys Stadium.\u00a0 Arkansas wide receiver Cobi Hamilton was one of the biggest stories nationally a week ago, breaking SEC and program single-game records with 303 receiving yards.\u00a0 Offensively, the team ranks second in the conference and 25th in college football in averaging 294.8 passing yards per game.\u00a0 Wilson set the school record with 481 yards of total offense in last year\u2019s 42-38 victory in this series as 2.5-point underdogs.<\/p>\n

Texas A&M will be seeking its first-ever conference victory as a member of the SEC, as it failed in its first opportunity in suffering a 20-17 loss to the Florida Gators as one-point home underdogs on Sept. 8.\u00a0 \u201cOur schedule is about to pick up in a hurry,\u201d stated Aggies first-year head coach Kevin Sumlin.\u00a0 The Aggies have done their best work in the middle two quarters this year, outscoring opponents by a 97-9 margin, including by 66 points in the second quarter.\u00a0 Texas A&M is 3-0 ATS as a favorite of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons, with the \u201cover\u201d going 3-0 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Aggies have turned the ball over just one time this year, while scoring touchdowns on both of their takeaways.\u00a0 Texas A&M has been tremendously tough on opponents on third down, allowing them to convert just 9 of 46 opportunities (20 percent).\u00a0 Quarterback Johnny Manziel has proven to be an explosive player on the offensive end, as he ranks in a tied for the No. 2 spot nationally in points responsible for with an average of 24.0 points per game.<\/p>\n

Sports bettors will likely back the Razorbacks due to their 5-0 ATS record on the road after suffering back-to-back losses, while the Aggies are 0-8-1 ATS in conference affairs.<\/p>\n
