The UCLA Bruins are one of two college football programs that are averaging 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing this season<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Oregon State is set to play the first of two straight road games, as the program has played just one game to this point, capturing a 10-7 win over the Wisconsin Badgers as six-point home underdogs on Sept. 8.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t know if I want to see more than one game the way they played against Wisconsin,\u201d stated UCLA Bruins first-year head coach Jim Mora.\u00a0 The Beavers held Badgers star running back Montee Ball to just 61 yards, which happened to be the fewest he\u2019s gained in 21 contests.\u00a0 Oregon State is 0-3 ATS off an upset win as a home underdog, which is important to consider when making your final college football predictions for the week.<\/p>\n

The Beaver defense allowed just 207 total yards, the lowest such mark the unit has allowed since Nov. 21, 2009.\u00a0 Oregon State is 15-40-4 all-time in this series, as it looks to snap a two-game losing streak against the Bruins, which includes a 27-19 setback as 4.5-point home favorites last year.\u00a0 Sophomore quarterback Sean Mannion is starting to come into his own, while ranking sixth on the school\u2019s career passing mark with 3,604 yards.<\/p>\n

UCLA has started off in perfect fashion in its first year under Mora\u2019s direction in Westwood, as its won all three games due to out-gaining their opponents by a triple-digit margin in each contest.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re 3-0 going into Pac-12 Conference play and that\u2019s a real positive,\u201d he commented at practice this week.\u00a0 The Bruins offense has been truly explosive, with running back Johnathan Franklin leading the nation in averaging 180.3 rushing yards per game.\u00a0 UCLA is 7-6 ATS at home the last two-plus seasons, with the \u201cover\u201d going 10-4 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Bruins are also extremely pleased in the play of redshirt freshman quarterback Brett Hundley, as he\u2019s thrown for at least 300 yards in back-to-back games.\u00a0 UCLA and Oklahoma State are the only two major college football programs averaging at least 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing.\u00a0 On the other side of the ball, the defense leads all teams nationally with seven interceptions.<\/p>\n

Sports bettors will likely back the Bruins due to their 8-1 ATS mark in the last nine meetings in this series, while the Beavers are 8-22-1 ATS in September.<\/p>\n
