The LSU Tigers have the best running game in the Southeastern Conference through three weeks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LSU opens up Southeastern Conference play on Saturday, traveling to face Auburn inside Jordan-Hare Stadium.\u00a0 The Tigers are going to be one of the more popular college football picks of the weekend, considering they\u2019ve won 24 straight games in the month of September, including a 63-14 blowout win over the Idaho Vandals as 42.5-point home favorites last week.\u00a0 The program has outscored its first three opponents by a 145-31 margin, as it looks to extend its nation-leading 16 consecutive regular-season win streak.\u00a0 LSU is 2-0 ATS as a road favorite of 14.5 or more points.<\/p>\n

The Tigers have opened the season scoring 40 or more points in their first three games, which is only the second time in the modern era that\u2019s happened.\u00a0 LSU will certainly be challenged in this contest, considering the home team has won 11 of the last 12 games in this series.\u00a0 Head coach Les Miles is 5-2 in SEC openers, while going 42-18 versus such opponents during his time in Baton Rouge.\u00a0 With its potent rushing attack, LSU leads the conference in averaging 48.3 points per game, while possessing the top rushing attack in gaining 269.3 yards per game on the ground.<\/p>\n
