The Nevada Wolf Pack are a dangerous team this year with quarterback Cody Fajardo’s dual-threat capabilities<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

South Florida earned a 34-13 win over Chattanooga as 30-point home favorites in its season opener, winning the statistical battle by 178 yards.\u00a0 The Bulls enter a challenging part of their schedule, as they head west to Nevada, which is followed by a Thursday night game against Big East rival Rutgers.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re going to stay on East Coast time the whole time,\u201d commented Bulls head coach Skip Holtz.\u00a0 The program is 34-41 in true road games in its history.\u00a0 South Florida is 2-7 ATS when the line is between plus-three and minus-three the last two-plus seasons, while the \u201cunder\u201d is 7-2 in that situation.<\/p>\n

The Bulls are led by quarterback B.J. Nevada earned won of its biggest wins in program history by capturing a 31-24 victory over the Golden Bears as 12-point road underdogs last week, which provided its second-ever road win over a BCS team.\u00a0 \u201cA lot of people said we were underdogs, and we love being underdogs,\u201d commented redshirt freshman Lenny Jones.\u00a0 Saturday\u2019s game will be the first time since 2007 that the team has opened a season with back-to-back games against BCS opponents.\u00a0 Nevada is 2-0 ATS off an upset win as an underdog the last two-plus seasons, with both games going \u201cover\u201d the total.<\/p>\n

The Wolf Pack have quite the combination at quarterback and running back, with Cody Fajardo throwing for 230 yards, while Stefphon Jefferson gained 147 yards on 34 carries last week.\u00a0 Nevada has compiled a 39-10 record inside Mackay Stadium since head coach Chris Ault returned to the sidelines in 2004.\u00a0 Offensively, the team has had at least one 100-yard rusher in 10 straight games.<\/p>\n
