Mariners starting pitcher Kevin Millwood (0-4, 5.88 ERA) will try to snap his own four-game losing streak, coming off a 6-4 setback to the Detroit Tigers at home last time out, giving up five runs and eight hits over five frames.\u00a0 The right-hander is 0-2 with a 2.79 ERA in three road starts, issuing seven walks and collecting 15 strikeouts in 19.1 innings.\u00a0 In 13 career games versus the Yankees, Millwood has registered a losing 2-6 mark and 5.12 ERA, including a 2-2 record and 6.14 ERA when pitching in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

New York enters on a three-game win streak and the offense should be primed to face today\u2019s opposing starter, with seven players hitting at least .300 against Millwood.\u00a0 The Yankees have won nine of their last 13 games in this series, while going 26-14 against the Mariners since the start of the 2008 season.\u00a0 It\u2019s all a power game in the Bronx, with the club going 19-8 when hitting a home run, while going 0-6 when failing to leave the park.\u00a0 New York is 3-1 as a home favorite of -175 to -200 this season.<\/p>\n
