The Texas Longhorns have dominated opponents at home when playing on ESPN's Big Monday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Baylor will look to bounce back from a disappointing 57-56 loss to the Kansas State Wildcats as 7.5-point home favorites, while going \u201cunder\u201d the total in five of its last six games.\u00a0 \u201cEighteen turnovers is by far too many and that really hurt us,\u201d commented Bears head coach Scott Drew.\u00a0 The Bears will be attempting to sweep the Longhorns for the second time in the last three seasons Monday night, capturing a 76-71 win as seven-point home favorites on Jan. 28.\u00a0 Baylor is 4-4 ATS on the road this season.<\/p>\n

The Bears are 1-5 all-time when playing in ESPN Big Monday contests, including an 0-5 mark in the Drew era.\u00a0 Baylor continues to be led by sophomore forward Perry Jones III on the offensive end, averaging 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game on 51.7 percent shooting.\u00a0 These two teams will meet for the second time on the ESPN Big Monday stage, with the Bears dropping a 73-57 road games against the Longhorns in 2009.\u00a0 The program is 10-2 away from home this season.<\/p>\n

Texas had its four-game win streak snapped in a listless 90-78 defeat to the Oklahoma State Cowboys as four-point road favorites, while going \u201cover\u201d the total for the fourth time in five games.\u00a0 The Longhorns have tallied an impressive 26-5 mark against the Bears during the Rick Barnes era, including a dominating 12-1 record when playing in Austin.\u00a0 Junior guard J\u2019Covan Brown has been the star of the show offensively, averaging 19.7 points per game.\u00a0 Texas is 4-12 ATS as a favorite and the \u201cover\u201d is 9-7 in those contests.<\/p>\n

The Longhorns have always dominated in-state opponents since Barnes arrived on campus, posting a 119-16 record in those games.\u00a0 Texas has also managed to register a dominating 93-18 mark at home in Big 12 Conference games under his direction.\u00a0 Playing on ESPN\u2019s Big Monday has provided quite an advantage at home for the program, posting a 15-5 mark in those affairs.\u00a0 The team has really seemed to catch its stride of late, which isn\u2019t surprising due to having six of its top nine players being freshman.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Bears due to their 5-2 ATS mark in the last seven meetings, while the Longhorns are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 home games.<\/p>\n
