The Wichita State Shockers are coming off a triple-overtime loss in the Missouri Valley Conference<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wichita State will look to bounce back from a 93-86 triple overtime defeat to the Drake Bulldogs as nine-point road favorites last time out, while the team has gone \u201cover\u201d the total in four of its last five contests.\u00a0 The Shockers may lack the necessary energy to come away with a victory in tonight\u2019s contest, as seven players logged all but five of the 275 available minutes in Saturday\u2019s loss.\u00a0 Offensively, the roster has six players who average between 8.4 and 13.6 points per game, with Garrett Stutz leading the way in scoring 13.6 points a contest.\u00a0 Wichita State is 7-11 ATS this season and the \u201cover\u201d is 11-8 in that span.<\/p>\n

The Shockers have played only seven true road games this year, posting a 6-1 mark in those contests, while going 15-3 on the road since the beginning of the 2010-11 campaign.\u00a0 Stutz was tremendous in Wichita State\u2019s two games last week, averaging 25.0 points on 70 percent shooting.\u00a0 The program is also known for its defensive intensity, leading all teams during Missouri Valley Conference action in allowing just 63.9 points per game.<\/p>\n

Missouri State has alternated wins and losses over its last four games, coming off a 63-51 victory over the Northern Iowa Panthers as one-point home underdogs.\u00a0 The Bears have three starters that average in double figures, with senior forward Kyle Weems leading the way in scoring 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.\u00a0 The team ranks sixth in the conference and 177th nationally in scoring 67.6 points per game, while the defense is third among Missouri Valley teams in giving up 62.7 points a contest.\u00a0 Missouri State is 6-3 ATS as an underdog this year.<\/p>\n

The Bears were definitely expected a big year from Weems, who was honored as the league\u2019s Preseason Player of the Year.\u00a0 Missouri State has won four of the last five games in this series inside the JQH Arena in Springfield, including a 69-64 victory as one-point favorites on Feb. 26.\u00a0 Total players will find that the \u201cunder\u201d has cashed in five of the last six meetings, including both meetings a year ago.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Bears due to their 5-0-1 ATS mark as a home underdog, while the Shockers are 3-9 ATS versus winning teams.<\/p>\n
