Oklahoma City Thunder PG Russell Westbrook has picked up his offensive games recently<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Oklahoma City begins a three-game road trip Friday night and will have two days off after taking on the Golden State Warriors inside Oracle Arena.\u00a0 The Thunder will actually play eight of their next nine games away from home.\u00a0 \u201cIt will be tough,\u201d commented Thunder forward Kevin Durant.\u00a0 \u201cWe just need to stay focused and take it a game at a time.\u201d\u00a0 The Thunder have tallied a 7-2 road record this season, including a 5-1 mark versus Western Conference foes.\u00a0 Oklahoma City is 0-2 ATS as a road favorite of 3.5 to 6 points.<\/p>\n

The Thunder are owners of an NBA-best 15-3 record and have won ten of their last 11 games overall.\u00a0 Oklahoma City is currently one of only two Western Conference teams to boast a winning road record.\u00a0 Point guard Russell Westbrook has picked up his offensive production over the past seven games, averaging 25.7 points on 52.2 percent shooting, which is dramatically higher than the 17.3 points he averaged during the first 10 games.<\/p>\n

Golden State continues a six-game homestand and will look to win consecutive games after capturing a 101-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers as 3.5-point favorites on Wednesday night.\u00a0 The Warriors tallied their first win in seven opportunities against a Western Conference team with that victory.\u00a0 \u201cWe weren\u2019t stressing about it,\u201d commented Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.\u00a0 He has played in just eight games this season, averaging 17.3 points and 5.4 assists per game.\u00a0 Golden State is 18-13 in its last 31 games against the Oklahoma City franchise, while going 4-6 ATS at home this season.<\/p>\n

The Warriors will have plenty of opportunities to improve upon their 1-6 record versus the West, playing the third of 15-straight games against such opponents tonight. Golden State is still trying to find the right mix of players under first-year head coach Mark Jackson, using 11 different players in seven starting lineups to start the season.\u00a0 In the past 11 games, the bench has really added to the team\u2019s offensive production, outscoring opponent\u2019s reserves by a 33.2 to 22.8 margin per game.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Thunder due to the road team being 12-5 ATS in the last 17 meetings, while the Warriors are 0-4 ATS as a home underdog of 4.5 points or less.<\/p>\n
