The Dayton Flyers sit alone in first place in the Atlantic 10<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Dayton has played the 11th-toughest schedule in college basketball this year and comes in off an impressive 87-72 win over the Xavier Musketeers as three-point home underdogs.\u00a0 The Flyers have been led by the play of Kevin Dillard, who leads the team in scoring 12.3 points per game while also dishing out 111 assists in the first 19 games of the 2011-12 campaign.\u00a0 \u201cKev\u2019s doing a really nice job for us,\u201d commented Flyers head coach Archie Miller.\u00a0 \u201cHe\u2019s done a really nice job for us from the very first game.\u201d\u00a0 Dayton is 0-2 ATS as a road underdog of 3.5 to 6 points.<\/p>\n

The Flyers sit along in first place in the Atlantic 10 with a 4-1 record, as the team is 10-1 when scoring 70 or more points this season.\u00a0 Dillard hasn\u2019t done all the scoring, as five other players on the roster are averaging 9.2 points or more per game this season.\u00a0 Dayton leads the all-time series, 18-12, with Saint Joseph\u2019s\u2014coming away with a 64-61 win in the A-10 championship semifinals a year ago.<\/p>\n

Saint Joseph\u2019s will be playing the second of three consecutive games in the Philadelphia area in hosting this game inside Hagan Arena.\u00a0 The Hawks have already surpassed last year\u2019s win total, while possessing an RPI of 58, which is the fifth highest in the A-10.\u00a0 The program will be focused on snapping a three-game losing streak, with all three losses coming on the road, including an 84-80 defeat to Penn as five-point road favorites last time out.\u00a0 After winning five in a row, the team has lost five of seven.\u00a0 Saint Joseph\u2019s is 2-3 ATS versus conference opponents this year.<\/p>\n

The Hawks are certainly led by their guard tandem of Carl Jones and Langston Galloway, who are averaging 17.2 and 16.6 points per game respectively.\u00a0 Saint Joseph\u2019s is hoping that Jones will be available tonight, as he\u2019s currently listed as probable with a sprained ankle.\u00a0 Galloway has certainly picked up the slack in playing all 40 minutes in two straight games.\u00a0 In home games, the program is averaging 72.2 points per game, while allowing just 59.3 points a contest.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Flyers due to their 4-1 ATS mark as an underdog, while the Hawks are 0-2 ATS when playing against a wining team after the 15-game mark this season.<\/p>\n
