The Duke Blue Devils have won 13 consecutive games following a straight-up loss<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Duke has won its last 13 games when coming off a loss and will look to bounce back from a 76-73 defeat to the Florida State Seminoles as 10.5-point home favorites.\u00a0 \u201cYou just go on,\u201d commented Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski.\u00a0 The Blue Devils lead the all-time series with the Terrapins, 110-61, including a 5-4 mark inside the Comcast Center.\u00a0 The program has won three straight and nine of the last 10 in the series.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to note that six of the last 10 games in the series have been decided by 10 points or less.\u00a0 Duke is 2-2 ATS as a road favorite of 9.5 to 12 points the last two-plus seasons.<\/p>\n

The Blue Devils have won three of the last four games at tonight\u2019s venue, winning those contests by an average margin of 12.7 points.\u00a0 Duke ranks in the top 15 nationally in scoring 80.5 points per game, while sitting 13th in shooting 49.8 percent from the floor.\u00a0 Offensively, the team is one of 12 in major college basketball with five or more players averaging 10 or more points per game.\u00a0 Freshman guard Austin Rivers averages a team-high 14.4 points per game and was named ACC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season.<\/p>\n

Maryland puts an eight-game home winning streak on the line tonight and is tied for fifth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 2-2 record.\u00a0 The Terrapins may have some extra motivation entering Wednesday night\u2019s game, as the program will name the court inside the Comcast Center in Gary Williams\u2019 honor.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m honored and humbled to receive this recognition,\u201d commented Williams this week.\u00a0 Sophomore guard Terrell Stoglin will need to have a big game, leading the conference in averaging 21.2 points per game.\u00a0 Maryland is 2-5 ATS as an underdog this year.<\/p>\n

The Terrapins last tasted defeat at home back on Nov. 29, dropping a 71-62 contest to the Illinois Fighting Illini in the Big Ten\/ACC Challenge.\u00a0 Maryland has been pounding the glass over its last 12 games, out-rebounding opponents by a 451-379 margin.\u00a0 Senior guard Sean Mosley has stepped up his game as the only player on the roster with three years experience, averaging 11.7 points over the past six games.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Terrapins due to their 35-16-3 ATS mark on Wednesdays, while the Blue Devils are 2-5 ATS on the road.<\/p>\n
