The Florida Gators have split their last four games heading into tonight's Southeastern Conference affair<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Georgia starts a two-game road swing in playing Florida inside the Stephen C. O\u2019Connell Center on Tuesday night.\u00a0 The Bulldogs had their five-game winning streak snapped in dropping a 74-59 contest to the Alabama Crimson Tide as six-point home underdogs last time out.\u00a0 Offensively, freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope leads the team in scoring 14.6 points per game, leading the way versus the Crimson Tide with a season-high 22 points.\u00a0 Georgia is 16-3 ATS off a loss against a conference rival the last two-plus seasons.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs haven\u2019t won in Gainesville since the 2002 campaign and just four times in the last 16 tries.\u00a0 Georgia has tallied a 484-712 all-time mark in Southeastern Conference games over a 77-year period, which ranks 10th out of 12 among current members.\u00a0 The team failed to cover both meetings a year ago versus tonight\u2019s opponent, including a 71-62 loss as six-point road underdogs on Feb. 24, 2011.<\/p>\n

Florida has tallied a solid 22-7 mark against Georgia under head coach Billy Donovan, including a 12-2 home mark.\u00a0 The Gators have split their last four games and are coming off a 67-56 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers as 7.5-point road favorites.\u00a0 \u201cBoth teams played hard, but the difference was defense,\u201d stated Donovan after the game.\u00a0 The program should rattle off some wins this month, playing five of its next seven games at home, winning 14 straight games in front of its faithful fans.\u00a0 Florida is 4-0 ATS over the past two-plus years when facing a team that allows 64 points or less.<\/p>\n

The Gators rank sixth nationally and lead the SEC in scoring 83.6 points per game, leading the nation with 176 makes from beyond the arc.\u00a0 Guard Kenny Boynton is the second-leading scorer in the conference, averaging 19.1 points per game.\u00a0 He has scored 20 or more points in nine games this season.\u00a0 Boynton will be the main attraction on ESPN\u2019s broadcast due to hitting 14 of 29 three-point shots and scoring 21.3 points per game in four meetings with the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Gators due to their 5-2-1 ATS mark versus SEC foes, while the Bulldogs are 6-14-1 ATS when playing on the road after three or more consecutive home games.<\/p>\n
