The Kansas Jayhawks will face a revenge-minded Davidson Wildcats side Monday night inside the Sprint Center<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Davidson continues a three-game road trip and travels to take on Kansas inside the Sprint Center in Kansas City.\u00a0 The Wildcats will look to snap a two-game losing streak and the \u2018over\u2019 has cashed six of their last seven games versus lined competition.\u00a0 The entire locker room is focused on trying to snap the program\u2019s nine-game losing streak to ranked opponents tonight, playing for the first time since Dec. 10.\u00a0 It\u2019s still important to note that the squad is off to its best start since the 2008-09 season.\u00a0 Davidson is 4-7 ATS on a neutral court the past two-plus years.<\/p>\n

The Wildcats are certainly experienced in bringing back seven of their top eight scorers from a year ago, as they were picked to win the SoCon South Division during the preseason.\u00a0 Davidson will also be looking to gain revenge from dropping a 59-57 decision in the Elite Eight round of the 2008 NCAA Tournament, as it watched Kansas go on and win the national championship.\u00a0 If the game is close down the stretch, the Wildcats certainly will have an edge in ranking third nationally in hitting 80 percent of their free throws.<\/p>\n

Kansas will put its four-game winning streak on the line and averages 75.3 points per game and allows just 62.1 points a contest, which gives the team a +13.2-point edge in scoring margin.\u00a0 Jayhawks head coach Bill Self is concerned that his team may show some rust after not playing for eight days due to finals.\u00a0 \u201cYou do not get better during finals week,\u201d stated Self this week.\u00a0 The Jayhawks will be led by All-American candidate Thomas Robinson, who is the only player in the Big 12 Conference to average a double-double with 17.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.\u00a0 Kansas is 9-13 ATS on a neutral floor the last two-plus years.<\/p>\n

The Jayhawks are expecting senior guard Tyshawn Taylor to be on the floor tonight, scoring 15.9 points per game.\u00a0 He just underwent knee surgery on Dec. 11 and seems fit enough to play due to the lack of swelling from a torn meniscus that he suffered.\u00a0 Kansas is 14-2 all-time inside tonight\u2019s venue and 213-83 all-time when playing in Kansas City.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Wildcats due to their 6-0 ATS mark versus Big 12 teams, while the Jayhawks are 2-5 ATS on a neutral court as a favorite of 12.5 or more points.<\/p>\n
