suffering consecutive home defeats against the New York Jets and New England Patriots, facing a revenge-minded New York Giants team inside MetLife Stadium. The Redskins have lost plenty of players this year, but they come in with confidence offensively, averaging 380.5 yards and 23.3 points over the past four games. Quarterback Rex Grossman should be able to put up solid numbers when finding out that three of his top six games in terms of passing yards have come against Sunday’s opponent. Washington is 4-6 ATS as an underdog this yeare and the ‘over’ is 6-5 in that situation.

The Redskins dropped a 34-27 affair to the New England Patriots last week as 7.5-point home underdogs, while going ‘over’ the total for the fourth straight game. Grossman completed 19-of-32 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. He had his best performance of the season in Week 1 in the team’s 28-14 win over New York as three-point underdogs inside FedExField, finishing with 305 yards and a season-best 110.5 passer rating.

New York snapped a four-game losing streak and walked out of Cowboys Stadium with a 37-34 win as 4.5-point road underdogs Sunday night, moving the team into a first-place tie atop the NFC East division. “We knew that we couldn’t afford to fall further behind Dallas when we went into the game,” commented Giants offensive linemen Kevin Boothe. “We are in a playoff-type atmosphere from here on out.” The Giants are 8-6 all-time inside MetLife Stadium, including a 3-3 mark this season. New York is 3-0 ATS this season when revenging a loss against an opponent.

The Giants are 91-62-4 all-time in their series against the Redskins, including a 11-4 mark under the direction of current head coach Tom Coughlin. Quarterback Eli Manning has entered the NFL MVP discussion over the past three games, throwing for 1,153 yards and seven touchdowns with three interceptions over that span. He has become the fifth signal-caller in league history to pass for at least 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in seven consecutive seasons. Wide receiver Victor Cruz has been his main target, leading the team with 68 receptions and 1,150 receiving yards.

Bettors will likely back the Giants due to the favorite being 9-4-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings, while the Redskins are 1-5-1 ATS in New York.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the NFL handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with
