The Buffalo Bills are virtually in a must-win situation Sunday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Buffalo needs a victory Sunday to continue being in the discussion in the AFC East division, dropping two consecutive games against the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys.\u00a0 The Bills have been out-gained by 223 combined yards in those contests.\u00a0 \u201cWe will reground and continue to work to get better,\u201d stated Bills head coach Chan Gailey.\u00a0 \u201cNobody\u2019s going to give you anything in this league.\u201d\u00a0 Offensively, turnovers have become a major problem in committing seven miscues, leading directly to scoring just 18 points in the last two games after averaging 30.1 in the first seven.\u00a0 Buffalo is 6-7 ATS versus division opponents the last two-plus years.<\/p>\n

The Bills are hoping that quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick can turn things around after throwing two touchdowns and five interceptions since signing a $59 million, six-year contract.\u00a0 Buffalo still has a major weapon in the backfield in Fred Jackson, who comes in second in the league in yards from scrimmage, while sitting atop the league with 917 rushing yards.\u00a0 The Bills walked away with a 17-14 win over the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium as 5.5-point road underdogs last year.<\/p>\n

Miami comes in on a two-game winning streak and the locker room certainly hasn\u2019t given up on the season.\u00a0 \u201cI went to the Super Bowl at 9-7 so it can be done,\u201d stated Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby.\u00a0 \u201cGuys are believing in it.\u201d\u00a0 The Dolphins front seven will definitely challenge the Bills in their ability to run the football, as the stop unit is 10th in the league in surrendering just 105.1 rushing yards per contest.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to note that Miami hasn\u2019t put together a winning streak at home since 2009.\u00a0 Over the past two-plus campaigns, the team is 6-14 ATS at Sun Life Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins have had an emergence of their own on the ground, as running back Reggie Bush has gone for 242 rushing yards in the past three games, which is a career-high for him over such a span.\u00a0 Miami should be able to run the ball against a defense that is allowing 4.6 rushing yards per carry and 11 rushing touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Bills due to their 9-4-1 ATS mark in this series, while the Dolphins are 1-7-1 ATS versus AFC opponents.<\/p>\n
