The Baylor Bears have won 20 consecutive non-conference home games entering Tuesday afternoon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

San Diego State will be playing its fourth game in five days when traveling to take on Baylor Tuesday afternoon inside the Ferrell Center.\u00a0 The Aztecs will be on the road for the first time this year, eyeing their second straight 4-0 start.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to note that the team is playing with just nine scholarship players.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re going to play hard with each and every position,\u201d commented Aztecs junior Chase Tapley.\u00a0 \u201cThe team has a lot of fight in it.\u201d\u00a0 San Diego State has won 10 of its last 11 games dating back to last year, with its last defeat coming against eventual national champion Connecticut.\u00a0 Over the last two-plus seasons, the squad is 1-3 ATS as a road underdog of 6.5 to 9 points.<\/p>\n

The Aztecs tallied a 10-73 record in their first 83 games versus ranked opponents, but that has turned around to a more respectable 8-10 mark.\u00a0 San Diego State played host to the Basketball Travelers Classic over the weekend, notching double-digit wins against Bryant, Southern Utah and UC Davis.\u00a0 Sophomore Jamaal Franklin scored a game-high 31 points in the last win, while Tapley pitched in with 23.<\/p>\n

Baylor has experience in playing in the College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, posting a 2-0 record in the event, while the team is looking to win its 21st straight non-conference home game.\u00a0 The Bears have played two non-Division I teams to open the year, picking up a 92-59 home win over Jackson State in the last contest.\u00a0 The lineup isn\u2019t complete, playing without Perry Jones III, who will be serving the third of a six-game suspension.\u00a0 Baylor is 9-11 ATS at home the past two seasons against lined opponents.<\/p>\n

The Bears have won by a double-digit margin in 17 of their last 18 non-conference home wins, while bringing in a dominating 32-6 record in the month of November under head coach Scott Drew.\u00a0 Baylor advanced to the NIT championship game for the first time in school history after capturing a 76-62 win over San Diego State on March 31, 2009, as one-point favorites.\u00a0 Since the start of the 2009-10 season, Baylor is 32-4 at home.<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Bears due to their 10-7 ATS record in non-conference action, while the Aztecs have covered just one of three games this season.<\/p>\n
