times this season, making Sunday’s road game against the Seattle Seahawks an intriguing matchup. Which Ravens team will show up? The one that swept the Pittsburgh Steelers and crushed the Houston Texans and New York Jets, or the one that lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road and struggled to beat the Arizona Cardinals at home?

The Seahawks (2-6) are hoping for the latter since they are looking to break a three-game losing streak and have averaged just 9.3 points per game over that stretch. They have scored only two offensive touchdowns during their skid, both coming from running back Marshawn Lynch.

Seattle quarterback Tavaris Jackson has not thrown a touchdown pass since Week 5 in a 36-25 upset of the New York Giants on the road. Jackson injured his shoulder in that game and has thrown four interceptions in two games since then, both resulting in double-digit losses. He will now face a Baltimore squad that has done just enough to win the last two games.

The Ravens (6-2) have won each of their past two by a field goal and rallied back to win both. But the competition and scenarios could not have been much different. They trailed the Cardinals 24-6 at halftime before outscoring Arizona 24-3 in the second half following a 12-7 loss at Jacksonville on Monday Night Football. Then they fought back against their AFC North rivals last week, scoring the game-winning touchdown at Pittsburgh with only eight seconds remaining for a 23-20 victory.

Baltimore QB Joe Flacco connected with rookie wide receiver Torrey Smith on the game-winning score and came through when his team needed him the most after blowing a 16-6 lead in the third quarter. Ravens RB Ray Rice was bottled up the Steelers, as he totaled just 43 yards on 18 carries. But Rice did score on a four-yard touchdown run and also caught five passes for 43 yards as well.

The toughest challenge for Baltimore (-7, O/U 41) will be trying not to look ahead to another divisional battle with Cincinnati next week following by a big game between head coach John Harbaugh and his brother Jim’s San Francisco team on Thanksgiving Day. The Ravens lost on the road to the Seahawks in the last meeting back in 2007, and they have met just twice since 1997.

The OVER has cashed in three of the past four meetings and is 7-2 in Baltimore’s last nine games overall. The OVER is also 7-2 in the past nine home games for Seattle.

Don’t miss out on a winning season
