The South Florida Bulls are 5-0 ATS all-time inside domed stadiums<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

South Florida will be aiming to snap a four-game losing streak Friday night, coming off a 20-17 loss to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in overtime as 2.5-point road favorites.\u00a0 The Bulls have only been outscored by a combined 12 points in their last three defeats.\u00a0 \u201cNobody\u2019s hanging their head.\u00a0 Nobody\u2019s dragging around, moping around,\u201d stated Bulls coach Skip Holtz.\u00a0 \u201cEverybody hurts a little bit.\u201d\u00a0 This particular contest is the first of three weeknight games for the program to close the season.\u00a0 South Florida is 3-5 ATS this season and 5-0 ATS when playing inside of dome stadiums.<\/p>\n

The Bulls are definitely one of the better offensive teams in the Big East Conference, averaging 32.5 points per game.\u00a0 South Florida has managed to average almost 467 yards a game, which includes a balance attack, falling just under 200 yards in terms of rushing.\u00a0 Junior quarterback B.J. Daniels has registered a 17-13 record as a starter for the program, throwing for 2,027 yards and 12 touchdowns with five interceptions during the 2011 campaign.<\/p>\n

Syracuse is also a program looking to get things back on track, dropping two games since tallying a 49-23 upset win over the West Virginia Mountaineers as 14-point home underdogs.\u00a0 \u201cThey\u2019re not down,\u201d commented Orange head coach Doug Marrone.\u00a0 \u201cNow, are they upset?\u00a0 Absolutely.\u201d\u00a0 The Orange will definitely be challenged in trying to pick up another win as a underdog inside the Carrier Dome, dropping five of the last six meetings, but picking up a 13-9 win as eight-point road underdogs last year.\u00a0 Syracuse is 5-1 ATS as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points, while the \u2018under\u2019 is 5-1 in those contests.<\/p>\n

The Orange bring in a 6-12 record against conference opponents under Marrone, while the school is 105-94-4 all-time in such affairs.\u00a0 Syracuse\u2019s offense has been extremely balanced in terms of play calling, rushing the ball 288 times, while throwing the ball 302 times.\u00a0 In four of the team\u2019s five wins, quarterback Ryan Nassib has led the Orange on a game-winning or game-tying drives in the fourth quarter or overtime.\u00a0 He has completed 65-of-94 passes for 613 yards and seven touchdowns in the final frame.<\/p>\n
