id="caption-attachment-3955" class="wp-caption-text">New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will be out for revenge Sunday afternoon

New York comes in on a two-game win streak and will be facing a third consecutive team from the AFC East. The Giants have played just one game as a road underdog this year, capturing a 29-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles when getting nine points. Much of the media attention surrounding this game will be focused on the quarterback matchup, with Eli Manning’s comments during the offseason causing quite a stir. “Well, the question was if I thought I was an elite quarterback and basically, I was just saying that I did,” commented Manning about being included with the likes of New England’s Tom Brady. New York is 9-9 ATS on the road the last two-plus seasons and the ‘over’ is 11-6 in those contests.

The Giants comes in with the fourth-best passing offense in the league, averaging 287.6 yards per game. Manning has been a big part of that success, coming in with the third best passer rating, just a notch below Sunday’s competitor in that particular category. New York will be looking to pressure Brady in a similar fashion as it did in winning Super Bowl XLII, as the team comes in leading the NFL in sacks.

New England was thoroughly beaten in a 25-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers as three-point road favorites last week, getting out-gained by a sizable 427-213 margin, throwing for just 198 yards. Many in the media asked Brady about potential revenge against a team this week that caused him to miss the opportunity of winning a fourth title. “That’s a distant memory,” he stated. The Patriots are a dominating 18-1 against NFC opponents at Gillette Stadium in their last 19 such contests. New England is 3-1 ATS as a home favorite of 7.5 to 10 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Patriots have been simply amazing since the 2002 campaign when playing games after Halloween on the schedule, tallying a 31-7 record in those contests. New England will also be putting its 20-game home winning streak on the line when playing during the regular season, while the franchise has won 84 percent of its games inside the venue. Offensively, the team has scored 202 points and is on pace to finish with 462, which would be third in team history.

Bettors will likely back the Giants due to their 13-6 ATS mark as road underdogs, while the Patriots are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in this series.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the NFL handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long
