nation’s longest winning streak to 17 games Saturday and is coming off a thrilling 56-48 triple-overtime win over the USC Trojans as 7.5-point road favorites. A victory on Saturday in Corvallis would give the program its first 9-0 start since the 1951 campaign. The Cardinal have won seven straight road games and rank first in the Pac-12 Conference and third nationally in scoring, averaging 49.5 points per game. The scoring has obviously gone up in its last efforts, putting 121 combined points on the scoreboard. Stanford is 20-6 ATS as a favorite the last two-plus seasons, while the ‘under’ is 14-13 in that span.

The Cardinal are known for jumping on opponents, outscoring them by a 463-151 margin in the first half in the past 21 games. Heisman Trophy candidate Andrew Luck has been sensational under center, completing 117-of-157 passes for 1,432 yards and 15 touchdowns over the last five games. Stanford has tallied an impressive 28-5 mark in Luck’s 33 career starts. He completed 29-of-40 passes for 330 yards and three scores, but was concerned of throwing the game away against the Trojans with a late interception. “There were a couple seconds there where I wanted to dig a hole and bury myself,” he commented.

Oregon State has seen better days as it returns home off a 27-8 loss to the Utah Utes as 5.5-point road underdogs, going under the total for the first time in five games. The Beavers will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak versus AP top 25 teams. “We have to keep a good attitude,” commented Beavers head coach Mike Riley. “We have to keep growing, and we have to keep opportunity always at the foremost of everything we’re doing right now.” The program is looking to avoid a guaranteed losing season at the earliest part of the schedule since 1997. Oregon State is 15-8 ATS versus conference opponents the last two-plus years.

The Beavers do possess a solid passing attack that ranks 22nd in the nation, throwing for 289 yards per game. If the season ended today, it would be the highest mark for the team since 2005. Quarterback Sean Mannion has taken over the starting role and is on pace for 3,296 yards passing. Despite the aerial attack, Oregon State is known for running the football as a program, but the team’s streak of 1,000-yard rushers is in jeopardy. Leading rusher Malcolm Agnew has just 401 yards on the year to this point.

Bettors will likely back the Beavers due to the home team being 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings, while the Cardinal are 1-6 ATS when playing in Corvallis.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are available
