coming off its second open date of the season and will take on Oklahoma State in Stillwater in a game that figures to be high scoring. The Bears only two losses this year have come on the road against ranked teams. Quarterback Robert Griffin III has completed a nation-leading 78 percent of his passes, while averaging more than 320 passing yards per game. The team is the only school nationally that is averaging 300-plus yards passing and 200-plus yards rushing. Baylor is 3-0 ATS as an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points the last two-plus seasons.

The Bears also have a major threat on the outside offensively, with wide receiver Kendall Wright averaging 9.17 receptions and 126.1 receiving yards per game. Baylor is 4-52 in the Big 12 era when playing ranked opponents. This is the 30th meeting between Baylor and Oklahoma State, losing nine consecutive games in Stillwater, with the last win coming in 1939. Through six games, Baylor is averaging 44.3 points, 549.7 yards of total offense.

Oklahoma State is coming off an impressive two-game road trip, handing the Texas Longhorns and Missouri Tigers both losses. The Cowboys have out-gained all seven of their opponents this year. Head coach Mike Gundy knows that his team still has a difficult schedule ahead, starting with this contest. “It makes for great Saturdays for the fans and not so much for the coaches,” Gundy commented in practice this week. The program should have plenty of confidence in playing Baylor, winning 14 of the last 15 meetings, including a 55-28 victory in last year’s meeting as 10-point home favorites. Oklahoma State is 6-1 ATS on the season and the ‘over’ holds a slight 4-3 edge.

The Cowboys are 7-0 for just the third time in school history and the second time in the last four years. Oklahoma State will be playing its Homecoming Game Saturday, posting a 47-35-7 all-time mark, including wins in both opportunities when hosting Baylor. Defensively, the team ranks No. 103 in total defense, but is incredibly opportunistic in causing turnovers. The school ranks second nationally in creating 24 turnovers this year, which is on pace to break last year’s mark of 34. Quarterback Brandon Weeden leads the offense, throwing for at least two touchdowns in 17 of his 20 starts, while he enters with 6,969 passing yards for his career.

Bettors will likely back the Cowboys due to their 16-4-1 ATS mark in October, while the Bears are 1-5 ATS as an underdog.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are
