the Texas Tech Red Raiders as 29-point home favorites, possibly knocking the program out of contention of reaching the BCS Championship Game. “Every team’s going to face adversity and it’s the good teams that deal with it the best,” commented Sooners linebacker Travis Lewis. “So, hopefully we’ve got strong guys that are going to deal with it the right way.” Oklahoma leads the series, 70-14-4, but is just 3-4 when both teams come in nationally ranked. Over the last two-plus seasons, the team is 3-7 ATS as a road favorite and the ‘under’ is 7-3 in those contests.

The Sooners are averaging 545 yards per game, but have failed to be consistent throughout the year. Quarterback Landry Jones still has a completion rate of 60 percent or higher in every game this season, while throwing for over 350 yards in all but one. His main target is senior wide receiver Ryan Broyles, who set the NCAA career receptions record against Kansas two weeks ago. The offensive line has been a strength all season in protecting Jones and the passing game, allowing just three sacks.

Kansas State is coming off a dominating 59-21 win over Kansas in the Sunflower Showdown, setting up a high-profile contest this Saturday. Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder knows that the Sooners are going to come out angry after last week’s loss. “I know how they’ll respond,” commented Snyder. “I’m going to send Bobby and his staff jokes out of the newspaper on a regular basis and try to lighten the mood a little bit.” Kansas State is 6-1 ATS this season and the ‘over’ is 4-2 in those contests.

The Wildcats rank in the top 30 nationally in four defensive categories, including scoring defense and total defense. Saturday’s matchup will be the sixth in the history of the series that the Wildcats head into the game with a higher national ranking than the Sooners, holding a 4-1 edge in those contests. Following last week’s win over Kansas, the program is one of only eight remaining unbeaten teams in the country. Under Snyder, Kansas State has opened 8-0 a total of two times. Offensively, the team has made 38 trips inside the red zone, coming away with scores in 33 of those trips.

Bettors will likely back the Sooners due to their 19-7 ATS mark following a straight-up loss, while the Wildcats are 1-7 ATS at home versus a team with a winning road record.

Don’t miss out on a winning season and let the college football handicappers at Maddux Sports line your pockets with cash. Long term packages are available
