Denver came away with a 26-20 win in last year\u2019s meeting with the Tennessee Titans as six-point road underdogs, so there\u2019s no reason it can\u2019t happen again.\u00a0 The Broncos still have quarterback Kyle Orton, who completed 35 of 40 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns in that particular contest at LP Field in Nashville. Orton will be leading his team on the road for the first time this year, coming away with a 24-22 win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week, which was a nice bounce back from dropping a 23-20 season-opening contest to the Oakland Raiders.\u00a0 Denver is 7-8 ATS on the road the last two-plus campaigns.<\/p>\n

The Broncos got some major contributions from some No. 2 players on the depth chart, including 101 rushing yards from running back Willis McGahee, while wide receiver Eric Decker finished with 113 receiving yards.\u00a0 Denver has been hammered by injuries early on this year, but hope that some of them return after participating in practice earlier this week.\u00a0 Wide receiver Brandon Lloyd and running back Knowshon Moreno are desperately needed at their respective positions.\u00a0 Despite the early season challenges, Denver is still tied with Oakland and San Diego atop the AFC West division.<\/p>\n

Tennessee evened its record to 1-1 with Week 2\u2019s most impressive win, tallying a 26-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens as 5.5-point home underdogs.\u00a0 The Titans finished with a dominating 432-229 total yards advantage, as the offense set its highest yardage mark in the history of the series with the Ravens.\u00a0 Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck led the way with 358 passing yards, giving him the second-most in franchise history through two weeks, coming into this contest with 621.\u00a0 Wide receiver Kenny Britt has been his main target, catching 271 yards worth of passes.\u00a0 Tennessee is 8-8 ATS in home games the last two-plus years.<\/p>\n

The Titans are hoping this is the week for star running back Chris Johnson to break out with a big game, as he\u2019s been limited to 77 rushing yards in 33 carries.\u00a0 Tennessee first-year head coach Mike Munchak was expecting a slow start due to Johnson missing most of the preseason in a contract dispute.\u00a0 He sat out with sore ribs on Wednesday, but anticipates having more running room this week due to the passing game coming together.\u00a0 \u201cA lot of teams come in thinking they can just load the box and if they stop me, they can win,\u201d he stated.\u00a0 \u201cWe have other ways to beat you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bettors will likely back the Broncos due to their 3-2 ATS mark as a road underdog of 3.5 to 7 points, while the Titans are 1-5 ATS as a home favorite in the same situation.<\/p>\n
