Norris<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5031\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5031\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5031\" src=\"https:\/\/www.madduxsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/carlos-lee-astros-019-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.madduxsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/carlos-lee-astros-019-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.madduxsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/carlos-lee-astros-019.jpg 495w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5031\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Carlos Lee is hitting .204  (12 of 49) on the season so far<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Padres are coming off a homestand in which they finished 3-5, and now embark on a 7 game road trip that begins today in Houston against the struggling Astros.\u00a0 On Wednesday, Orlando Hudson hit a bases laded single in the 9th inning, as the Padres rally for a 3-2 victory over the visiting Reds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter how you get the win, it\u2019s a huge win after a tough couple of losses,\u201d said Hudson, batting .361 during a nine-game hitting streak.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Hudson&#8217;s success driving the Padres to win some games, their team batting average is a dismal .214 and the Padres hit 2 for 22 with runners in scoring position during their three game series against the Reds.<\/p>\n<p>The Astros just dropped 2 of 3 at home against the Cubs.\u00a0 Astros pitchers gave up 16 runs in the 3 games and the last one was a 9-5 loss on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>San Diego will send Dustin Moseley to the mound.\u00a0 Moseley is 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA and has yet to receive a single run of support so far.\u00a0 He gave up one run in 7 innings in a 2-0 loss to the Cardinals on April 3rd, and then he gave up 3 runs in 6 innings in a 4-0 loss to the LA Dodgers Saturday.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s baseball,\u201d Moseley said. \u201cYou keep going out there, the boys will start coming through. We\u2019ve got a good group here and some good hitters.
