Tonight offers a lot of player prop bets on a big NBA schedule, and I’ve selected some of the better lines for betting purposes, here’s the Over\/Under for 11 players in tonight’s games.

Cousins has been picking it up recently and the 12 point line for tonight seems a little low.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Carmelo Anthony Over\/Under 22.5 pts vs BOS<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNDER.\u00a0 Melo hasn’t scored more than 22 points since November 22nd, and has scored 14 or less in 2 of his last 4 games.\u00a0 Tonight, he will be facing a tough Boston defense that is known for holding big scorers to small nights.

\nChauncey Billups Over\/Under 21.5 Pts+asts vs BOS<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNDER.\u00a0 Billups is averaging 20.3 Pts+asts and tonight he will be checked by Rondo.\u00a0 Though Billups has a size and strength to give Rondo problems, ultimately Rondo is able to keep Billups under control by Boston slowing down the pace to a snail’s crawl, which will limit Billups’ statline.

\nJ.R. Smith Over\/Under 12.5 Pts\u00a0 vs BOS<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 JR Smith seems to have broken free of the doghouse of George Karl and has emerged from a season long slump to score 14 or more in 4 of his last 5 games.\u00a0 Other than a 5 point stinker against Memphis in which he only played 19 minutes, he has been very effective of late, even scoring 30 against Phoenix on November 28th.

\nDerrick Rose\u00a0 Over\/Under 34 Pts+Asts vs CLE<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 Rose is averaging 33.3 Pts+Assts this year.\u00a0 He had a poor outing last game against Oklahoma City and is sure to come out tonight with a sense of purpose.\u00a0 Being guarded by Daniel Gibson and Mo Williams will be a welcome relief from going head to head against Westbrook, too.\u00a0 Just on points alone, he has scored 30 or more in 3 of the last 6 games and is sure to have a big night tonight against the Cavs, who lack any interior shotblockers to challenge Rose at the rim.

\nDeMar DeRozan Over\/Under 12.5 Pts vs NYK<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 DeRozan has scored 13 or more in 3 of his last five games and is going against the notoriously weak Knick defense tonight.\u00a0 The high paced game is in DeRozan’s favor as he is one of the quicker and more athletic players in the league.\u00a0 I’m not predicting a huge game by any means, but 14-16 points is very reasonable and probable.<\/p>\n

Amar’e Stoudemire Over\/Under 35.5 Pts+Rebs vs TOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 Amare has absolutely been on fire and has scored 30+ in all of his last five games, including one against Toronto.\u00a0 That game, 3 nights ago, Amare went for 31 points and 16 boards and there’s no reason he won’t do it again.\u00a0 Bargnani has absolutely no defense against Amar’e and I would expect Amar’e to have another monster game tonight.

\nDanilo Galinari Over\/Under 15.5 Pts vs TOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNDER.\u00a0 Galinari has scored 13 or less in three of his last four games.\u00a0 Last game against Toronto he managed only 6 points, and just as importantly his season average of 15.1 is under the total set for tonight.

\nKevin Durant Over\/Under 29.5 Pts Vs MIN<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNDER.\u00a0 Durant hasn’t scored 29.5+ since November 24th against Dallas.\u00a0 His scoring average is down to 27.4, and while Minnesota isn’t a particularly good defensive team, or even a good team at that, they do have Corey Brewer, whose length and speed should be good enough to keep Durant from scoring 30.<\/p>\n

Manu Ginobili Over\/Under 22.5 Pts Vs GSW<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 Though Manu has struggled of late, players have a way of correcting that against Golden State.\u00a0 In fact, the last time Manu scored 20+, guess who it was against?\u00a0 That’s right.\u00a0 Last night he scored 20+ was three games ago when he went for 27 against Golden State.\u00a0 Expect a repeat performance tonight.

\nLeBron James Over\/Under 26.5 Pts Vs UTA<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNDER.\u00a0 Though LeBron has stepped up his scoring of late, he still has failed to score 27+ in 7 of his last 9 games and last time against Utah he only scored 20.\u00a0 He’ll be guarded by defensive superstar Andrei Kirilenko, who has the length and talent defensively to frustrate LeBron.\u00a0 Moreover, when AK isn’t in the game, C.J. Miles is an adequate defender as well.\u00a0 LeBron is likely to have trouble scoring more than 22 or 23 tonight against Utah.

\nDeMarcus Cousins Over\/Under 12 Pts vs WAS<\/strong><\/p>\n

OVER.\u00a0 Cousins has scored 15 or more in 3 of his last 4 games and appears to be finally starting to “get it.”\u00a0 Though his field goal percentage has been low all season (40.1%), he is getting enough touches and shots to make scoring 12 points look like a cake walk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
