Vince Young might not be Michael Vick but he will look to feast on the Redskins defense on Sunday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Washington Redskins (4-5) and Tennessee Titans (5-4) will both be looking to end two-game skids on Sunday when they square off in an interconference matchup.\u00a0 The Redskins were embarrassed 59-28 at home on Monday night by Philadelphia and hope Tennessee quarterback Vince Young did not watch Michael Vick\u2019s performance too closely.<\/p>\n

The Titans (-7) welcomed Young back last week in a 29-17 loss at Miami, although it was hardly planned the way it unfolded.\u00a0 Starting quarterback Kerry Collins suffered a calf injury against the Dolphins and will miss at least the next couple weeks, forcing Young back into action after he had been dealing with ankle and knee injuries himself.\u00a0 Young fumbled on his third play of the game and later threw an interception in the end zone as he was attempting to rally his team back.<\/p>\n

The quarterback shuffle between Collins and Young also severely limited the impact of wide receiver Randy Moss in his first game with Tennessee.\u00a0 Moss caught only one pass for 26 yards and now has just five catches in his last three games combined, including his last two in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

However, Moss should be able to get on track against a Washington defense that is surrendering an NFL-high 415.3 yards per game after giving up 592 to Vick and the Eagles.\u00a0 The Redskins allowed Vick to throw for 333 yards and four touchdowns while also running for 80 yards and another couple scores.\u00a0 While Young has not yet shown the capability to put up those types of numbers on the pro level, he certainly has the potential to hurt Washington in similar ways.<\/p>\n

Despite their poor play recently, the Redskins have still been involved in a number of close games and could be extra motivated after being embarrassed on national television.\u00a0 Prior to losing consecutive games by a combined 43 points, Washington had seen four of its previous six games decided by exactly three points, going 2-1-1 against the spread.<\/p>\n

There has obviously been a lot of turmoil surrounding this team in D.C., from Albert Haynesworth in the preseason to Donovan McNabb recently.\u00a0 Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan has been at the center of every controversy so far and must find a way to right the ship again fast or else his team will continue to spin out of control.<\/p>\n

Fans and bettors alike could see another high-scoring game here by looking at the numbers.\u00a0 The OVER is 3-1 in Washington\u2019s last four games overall and 5-1 in Tennessee\u2019s last six.\u00a0 The OVER has also cashed in the last four meetings between the teams along with five of the last six.<\/p>\n
