Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy is focused on heading into a bye week on a three-game winning streak<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Dallas linebacker DeMarcus Ware needs to step up his performance, as he leads the NFL with 64.5 sacks since 2006.\u00a0 The unit returned 10 starters from last year and has allowed an average of 33.5 points during a four-game losing streak.\u00a0 \u201cSame guys, same defense and we\u2019re not getting it done,\u201d said defensive end Marcus Spears.\u00a0 Backup Jon Kitna played well in his first start in replacement of starter Tony Romo, completing 34 of 49 for 379 yards versus the Jaguars.<\/p>\n

Green Bay was picked by many to be a Super Bowl contender and has seemed to bounce back after losing three games in a four-week span.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s important to stack success,\u201d said Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.\u00a0 \u201cThe hardest thing to handle in my opinion in the NFL is handling success.\u201d\u00a0 The Packers have won back-to-back games and open the eyes of many with 9-0 shutout win versus the Jets last week.\u00a0 There\u2019s no doubt that this squad wants to enter the bye week carrying this momentum and is prepared to do it.\u00a0 \u201cWe need to get this one here at home on Sunday night and get to the bye,\u201d McCarthy stated.\u00a0 \u201cThat\u2019s our focus.\u201d\u00a0 Green Bay is 4-4 ATS this season and 10-9 ATS at home over the past three years.<\/p>\n

The Packers have had trouble finishing games on offense and have scored just 30 points in the fourth quarter.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re making enough plays to win games, but there\u2019s a standard that\u2019s been set here with the kind of points we scored last season, the kind of production we put up,\u201d said quarterback Aaron Rodgers.\u00a0 \u201cIf you compare this year to last year, obviously we\u2019re below those.\u201d\u00a0 Green Bay is currently on pace for 352 points this season, which would be the lowest output in four years.<\/p>\n
