The Ohio State Buckeyes will welcome the Michigan State Spartans to the Horseshoe this Saturday in the forgotten Big 10 game of the weekend. The Wisconsin-Nebraska game will understandably get the lion’s share of press, but this should be a great game and one that Ohio State has some value in.
The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off a bye week, and they certainly needed the time to lick their wounds. Kansas was mauled by the Rambling Wreck from Georgia Tech, 66-24 two weeks ago. The Jayhawks yielded 604 rushing yards, which set an NCAA Division I-A record. They’ll look to get back on track this Saturday when they host the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lawrence, Kansas.
This week has another fine slate of games. The Big 10 is the place to be with Nebraska visiting Wisconisn and Sparty traveling to the Horseshoe. A big ACC battle between Clemson and Florida State will capture a lot of viewers out East. The Crimson Tide rolls into the Swamp. And the Longhorns head to Ames, IA looking for revenge for last year.
The Arkansas Razorbacks and soon to be SEC member Texas A&M are set to square off this Saturday in the Southwest Classic, which is played in Cowboys Stadium. Last season Arkansas managed to hold off the Aggies for a 7 point win, narrowly covering the spread. This year both teams come into the game following disappointing losses, which makes this a big game for two teams with BCS bowl aspirations.
