Participants/Overview: The 2007 Pac Ten Tournament will be hosted at the Staples Center and will welcome all 10 teams from the conference. One sure-fire bid into the NCAA Big Dance will be on the line for the schools. The top 2 teams in terms of conference standings will get byes and get to play against a team that had to play the day before. The next 4 teams record wise will also only have to win 3 games to win the pacific ten championship.
2007 Pac 10 Tournament News, at the time of publish it is looking like the Pac-10 conference will be getting 6 at large bids into the tourney. UCLA and Washington State have the 2 best resumes and are slated to be the number 1 and 2 seeds respectfully.
USC, Oregon, Stanford, and Arizona all have very good chances at making the big dance as at large bids as long as they don't fall flat on their face the rest of the way. Although depending on how the other conference tourneys shake out the second round games between the 3 & 6 seeds and 4 & 5 seeds could be elimination games with the loser heading to the NIT.
Other teams better not look past the Washington Huskies, WU is young and hungry, and their only shot at post season play will be winning the pac 10 tournament championship collecting the automatic bid. The bookmakers odds ratings and maddux sports rating has Washington rated higher than a couple of the middle of the road teams, so don't be surprised for the Huskies to put it all together come mid March.

TV: All of the games from the first 3 rounds of the pacific 10 tournament will be broadcast on FSN. The Pac 10 championship game will be televised on CBS at 6:00 eastern time, March 10th.

Last Years Winner
UCLA Bruins. The number 1 seeded Bruins beat Oregon State, Arizona
& Cal in the final game to claim the 2006 pac 10 tournament
championship. UCLA made it look easy as they had a 21 point average
margin of victory for the tournament. It was a display of pure
domination and ultimately lead to their run into the national
championship game where they lost to Florida.
