Titans Vs Cowboys Betting Preview
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo has thrown for 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions in three games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay has tallied a 1-1 straight-up record and 2-0 against-the-spread mark through two weeks of the season, but it’s still important to note that the team has been out-gained in both contests.  The Buccaneers certainly let one slip away last week, allowing 25 fourth-quarter points in a 41-34 setback to the New York Giants.  “It hurts,” commented Buccaneers defensive lineman Michael Bennett.  Tampa bay is 1-6 ATS off a loss, which is a significant betting trend to consider when making your Week 3 pro football predictions.

The Buccaneers need to sure up their secondary if they plan on pulling off an upset here, as they’ve surrendered 813 passing yards in two games.  Tampa Bay is looking for some explosive plays on the other side of the ball, as starting running back Doug Martin has only two runs over 10 yards, while LeGarrette Blount isn’t known for going the distance.  Quarterback Josh Freeman needs to get the ball down field to wide receiver Vincent Jackson, who was known for making big plays during his time with the San Diego Chargers.

Dallas is disappointed it failed to build off its season-opening win over the Giants, as the team now focuses on playing its first game of the year inside Cowboys Stadium.  America’s Team has gone 13-11 inside the building since it opened in 2009, but that includes a 6-2 mark in its first year.  “Well, we think it’s real important to win your home games,” stated Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.  Dallas has failed to cover four of its last five games in front of its fans, which is something to consider when looking at the pro football betting odds page.

The Cowboys are expecting a big day out of quarterback Tony Romo, who has thrown for 908 yards and 11 touchdowns without an interception in three meetings with the Buccaneers.  Dallas may elect to put the ball into the air, considering Tampa Bay has allowed just 52 rushing yards per game this season.

Sports bettors will likely back the Cowboys due to the favorite covering the last five games in this series, while the Buccaneers are 1-4 ATS on the road.
