Titans vs. Texans NFL Game Preview
The Houston Texans are 8-1-1 ATS in games where the betting line is between +3 to -3

Seattle has opened up its season with a 3-0 record, which includes a 45-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars as 19.5-point home favorites last week, while going OVER the betting total for the first time.  The Seahawks have won the statistical battle in all three contests, which is important to consider when making your pro football picks in Week 4.  The team possesses the top-ranked defense in the league, as it aims to start a season with four victories for the first time in franchise history.  Seattle is 2-3 SUATS as road favorites of three points or less, with the UNDER going 4-1 in that situation.

The Seahawks are surrendering just 241.7 yards per game, while they’ve managed to force 10 turnovers.  Seattle’s top players on that side of the ball weren’t exactly thrilled in giving up 265 yards to one of the worst offenses in football last week.  “We’re disappointed,” stated Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.  These two teams have split two meetings against each other since 2005, with the Seahawks suffering a 34-7 loss as seven-point road underdogs on Dec. 13, 2009.

Houston had its two-game winning streak snapped in suffering a 30-9 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens as one-point road underdogs last week, while going UNDER the betting total of 44.5.  The Texans have also won the statistical battle in each of their games in 2013, but they’ve failed to cover the number over that span.  Defensively, the unit is strong as ever, as it ranks second in the league in allowing just 249.0 yards per game.  Houston is 8-2 SU and 8-1-1 ATS in games where the betting line is between +3 to -3, with the OVER going 6-4 in those 10 opportunities.

The Texans gained just 264 total yards against the Ravens—a number that was drastically different from averaging 450.5 over their first two games when taking on the Tennessee Titans and San Diego Chargers.  Houston is hoping that star wide receiver Andre Johnson can suit up in this affair, as he’s listed as game-time decision with a shin injury.

Sports bettors will likely back the Texans due to their 14-5-1 ATS mark after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game.
