Patriots vs. Dolphins NFL Preview
The New England Patriots are 17-0 in the second half of the season since 2010

Indianapolis has won four games in a row, including a 27-10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars as three-point road favorites, while going UNDER the total in its last four contests.  The Colts have been thrilled with how rookie quarterback Andrew Luck has performed, as he ranks eighth in the NFL with 2,631 passing yards, while throwing 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions.  Indianapolis is 1-3 ATS as a road underdog of 7.5 to 10 points the last two-plus years.

The Colts will meet up with the Patriots for the 10th consecutive season, as they look to snap a two-game losing streak in the series, including a 31-24 setback as 20.5-point road underdogs last year.  Indianapolis should find some success through the air in this affair, considering Sunday’s opponent has surrendered 285.3 yards per game and 19 throwing scores this year.  Wide receivers Donnie Avery and Reggie Wayne have combined for 107 catches and 1,450 yards this season.

New England has gone 17-0 in the second half of the regular season since the 2010 campaign, as it captured a 37-31 victory over the Buffalo Bills as 13.5-point home favorites last week, while going OVER the total for the seventh consecutive contest.  The Patriots have compiled a dominating 70-14 record at home since 2002, as they’ve outscored their opponents by 840 points in that situation.  New England is 16-9 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 9.5 points the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 20-6 in that situation.

The Patriots are 20-10 against the Colts since 1993, while winning 17 of the last 24 series meetings.  New England ranks first in the NFL in averaging 33.2 points and 430.3 yards per game, while their defense is 15th in surrendering 22.3 points per contest.  Quarterback Tom Brady has completed 60 percent of his passes in his last 10 games, while connecting with tight end Rob Gronkowski 17 times for 255 yards and five touchdowns in the team’s last three affairs.

Sports bettors will likely back the Patriots due to their 9-2 ATS mark off a win against a division rival, while the Colts are 5-5 ATS in November.
