The Louisville Cardinals have won seven of nine home games against the Syracuse Orange

Syracuse has won six games in a row, including a 72-61 victory over the Villanova Wildcats as 14-point home favorites, while going UNDER the total for the third time in four contests.  The Orange are scoring 79.0 points per game while allowing just 57.8, which comes out to a +21.2 scoring margin.  The program is 6-13 all-time against Louisville, including a 2-7 mark when playing on the road.  Syracuse is 11-5 ATS in its last 16 road games, which can’t be ignored when looking over the college basketball odds page.

The Orange have four players averaging in double figures, with junior guard Brandon Triche leading the way in scoring 14.1 points per game.  Syracuse is getting 34.3 percent of its scoring from its senior class, but only 22 percent of its production on the glass.  In making your NCAA basketball picks, it’s important to realize that this program is 1-7-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in this series.

Louisville is coming off an impressive 73-58 victory over the Connecticut Huskies as 6.5-point road favorites Monday, while going UNDER the total for a third-straight contest.  The Cardinals rank second nationally in turnover margin, which has created 428 of their 1,307 points this season, which has also played a major part in their current 11-game winning streak.  The program has knocked down 47.9 percent of its shots from the field over the last eight games.  Louisville is 7-1 ATS in its last eight conference games, with the UNDER going 10-2 in its last 12 opportunities in that situation.

The Cardinals have three players averaging in double figures, with junior guard Russ Smith leading the way, scoring 18.9 points per game.  He joins up with Peyton Siva to make up one of the more dangerous backcourts in the nation.  Louisville has tallied a 79-31 record in conference games since the 2006-07 campaign, which happens to lead all teams in the Big East in victories over that particular time.

Sports bettors will likely back the Orange due to their 9-4 ATS mark in their last 13 games, while the UNDER is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in this series.
