San Antonio has won four of its last five games, including a 116-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers as 9.5-point home favorites last Saturday, while going OVER the betting total of 204.5.  The Spurs are 13-3 SU on the road this season, including an 8-3 mark versus Western Conference opponents, which is important to consider when making your NBA predictions.  The team is led offensively by the play of point guard Tony Parker, who is averaging 17.7 points a contest.  San Antonio is 7-1 ATS in its last eight road games.

The Spurs have won six straight games against the Grizzlies, which can’t be ignored when looking over the pro basketball odds page.  Parker is averaging 23.3 points and 7.8 assists in his last 10 regular-season and playoff meetings in this series.  San Antonio also has a capable bench that paces the NBA in scoring 46.2 points a contest and ranks sixth in the league in grabbing 16.4 rebounds per game.

Memphis has alternated wins and losses over its last seven contests, as it comes off a 112-84 victory over the Detroit Pistons as 2.5-point road underdogs Sunday, while going OVER the betting total for the fourth time in five contests.  The Grizzlies are 0-8 SU against Southwest Division opponents this season, while putting together a 15-10 record versus the rest of the league.  The team has also dropped 14 of 15 games when getting outshot from the field.  Memphis is 5-15 ATS in its last 20 home games.

The Grizzlies will need a huge performance from point guard Mike Conley in this affair, as he’s averaged 20.0 points in his last six home games against the Spurs, which includes outings in the playoffs.  He is averaging a career-high 17.3 points and scored 20-or-more points 10 times already this season.  The franchise is 18-55 SU all-time in this rivalry series, with 12 of those wins coming at home.

Sports bettors will likely play the total, as the OVER is 5-1 in the last six meetings in this series.
