The Chicago Bulls have won nine games in a row against the Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee will be focused on gaining revenge from a 93-86 setback to Chicago as 2.5-point home favorites on Saturday, while managing to go UNDER the total for the first time in a four-game span.  “It was kind of a grind-it-out game and when it really came time to grind it out, they did it to us,” stated Bucks coach Scott Skiles.  The Bucks are looking to break a nine-game losing streak against the Bulls, which is their longest such streak against any opponent.  Milwaukee is 3-1 ATS as an underdog this season, which is important to consider when making your NBA picks against the spread on Monday night.

The Bucks will likely play this Eastern Conference affair without the services of starting point guard Brandon Jennings, who suffered a sprained ankle last time out.  He is currently averaging 17.5 points and a team-high 7.5 assists per game.  Milwaukee will need to lean heavily on shooting guard Monta Ellis, as he is scoring a team-high 19.9 points per game.  Jennings is also difficult to replace on the defensive end, considering he’s leading the league in averaging 3.45 steals per game.

Chicago has split its six home games during the 2012-13 NBA season, as four of their five probable starters for this affair are averaging double figures in scoring.  The Bulls are still playing without point guard Derrick Rose, with Kirk Hinrich filling that role at this particular time.  The franchise has won 12 of the last 13 meetings in this series when playing inside the United Center.  Chicago has dropped all six of its home games against the spread this year, with the UNDER going 4-2 in those contests.

The Bulls should definitely try to feature power forward Carlos Boozer in this matchup, considering he’s shooting 59.3 percent from the field in his last nine games against the Bucks.  He is averaging 17.8 points and 12.6 rebounds in his last five games overall.  On the defensive end, it’s all about holding opponents to under 90 points, as the team has tallied a perfect 4-0 mark when accomplishing that task.

Sports bettors will likely back the Bulls due to their 7-2 ATS mark in the last nine meetings in this series, while the Bucks are 1-4 ATS in their last five divisional affairs.
